I just picked up the July 2012 edition of the mag at my local news vendor. Imagine my surprise when I got home, put the DVD in the tray of the computer then found out I had to go to the website to view the contents of said DVD. Being someone who realises that we now live in the digital age and should embrace the internet, that wasn't a problem for me. What was a problem however, was the fact that the contents of the DVD were not on the website!
I think, in future, before filling the DVD with data and redirecting purchasers to the website to view said data, someone at the mag should ensure that the actual content of the DVD has been uploaded onto the website before the magazine is distributed to retail outlets.
Fair comment or not?
Also, the mag's name is Australian PC, so could we please use a British English rather than U.S. English spell checker on the website? (The spell checker wanted me to change the spelling or realise to realize. The U.S. might believe the world begins and ends at it's eastern and western shores, but to my knowledge Australia is still part of the British Commonwealth and as such we use The Queen's English, not some butchered American hybridised version of the language of Shakespeare.

I have just opened the July dvd. The various Linux distributions are clearly available for download form the dvd. What is missing is the apcmag.com/toolkits and apcmag.com/dvdpage - index of dvd. So APC has got it half right...
