Uninstalling Panda Antivirus 2012 trial

Has anyone had problems uninstalling the Trial version of this Panda software using Windows 7?
I get an error each time I try and uninstall it relating to 'setupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (390)' etc and when I go to the website it suggests I download a file ('Uninstaller.exe') which does nothing.
Then finding and emailing Australian support results in an email suggesting I contact a Malaysian address which hasn't replied yet.
Apologies if I've posted to the wrong place but I was wondering if there were others having a similar problem.

My re-collection of this is from several years and obviously several version back and things might have changed.
I'd to boot up in safe mode to uninstall it.
