The PC-A10 is not a new case from Lian Li, but as a steady seller in the market for over 12 months, it’s proven itself a good buy.
Lian Li is very well-known as a quality PC case manufacturer. One of the first companies to move to anodised and brushed aluminium as a main construction component, it sets the bar high for good quality (and top price tags) amongst the PC enthusiast community.
The PC-A10 is an ATX-sized mid-tower case, with excellent air flow, a simple and clean design and some nifty tricks up its sleeve. The Lian Li includes a front-mounted door with (real) lock, a built-in 3-speed fan controller, a ‘side’-mounted fan, which draws air from the rear of the case directly onto the hottest parts of the motherboard, and rubber-grommetted components to keep vibration noise down.
The PC-A10 is also designed to hold two PSUs for extra power in very loaded systems, but it’s not necessary to install two if you don’t need them.
The construction is great, it’s well laid out, runs cool and looks good. What more could you want? We could only ask for perhaps an eSATA port.
