COMPUTEX 2007 |Is it that time of the year already? We're on the ground at Computex in sunny Taipei, pressing the flesh at the biggest, fastest and meanest IT show in the world.

Well, the time has come around for another Computex in sunny Taipei. Computex is the biggest, fastest and meanest IT show in the world, with representative from everywhere convening on the hot and humid shores of Taiwan for a week of wheeling, dealing and launching.

Five convention halls, plus other venues surrounding the immense Taipei 101 skyscraper play host to more motherboards than you can poke a stick at, plus masses of other interesting tech.

This is a show where travel time between booths is measured in blocks of 30 minutes, with the hum and bubble of commerce filling every breath of air in between.

I'm on the ground, Canon 30D in hand, a backpack full of batteries and I'm pressing the flesh. So stay tuned.

War of the worlds: well, no, but Taiwan has its own aerial invaders during Computex.War of the worlds: well, no, but Taiwan has its own aerial invaders during Computex.
