THE WINNERS AND FINALISTS
INTERNET TECHNOLOGY OF THE YEAR 2007
The APC Internet Technology of the Year Award 2007 has been won by Telstra for its BigPond Wireless Broadband on the Next G network service. Wireless broadband delivered over Telstra's next generation 3G network has the broadest coverage of any mobile network in Australia with full broadband speed across the network. It's one of the earliest wide scale commercial rollouts of HSDPA mobile technology in the world. APC readers recognised this as a major achievement.
