Too many orders or not enough iPads? Either way, if you haven't already placed your pre-order for the iPad you'll have to wait until at least June 8th for delivery.
Apple's Australian online store has pushed back the shipping and delivery dates for pre-orders of the iPad by two weeks.
Until yesterday, orders placed for both the Wi-Fi and 3G iPad would be shipped on May 26th, in time for delivery on (or even the day before) the Australian launch date of May 28th.
But there's either been a flurry of orders or a serious shortfall of iPads – or perhaps a bit of both – because Apple has now shifted the shipping dates for pre-ordered iPads to June 7th, with deliveries starting from June 8th.
So if you haven't already staked your claim to the tempting touchscreen tablet, you'll just have to wait a little longer – or take your chances at an Apple store or retailer.
