Computer games go porno

The notion of “expansion pack” takes on a whole new meaning in this context but D-Dub Software the developers of Bonetown are quite pleased with their new partnership with adult distributor SugarDVD which will allow porn footage to be incorporated into a forthcoming expansion for the PC game. The newly minted Bonetown Theatre includes 20-minutes of footage from SugarDVD title Freshly Squeezed 3 ½ tastefully described by the developers as “an exclusive 20-minute addition to their busty udder series”. Well quite.

Players will have to complete a number of new missions which apparently involve helping a midget called Minidog fight some porn star security guards before they can view the footage. We don’t feel we can usefully add to the description on the Bonetown blog of what happens next: “Once you have helped your newly found midget friend get the heat off his back and you have achieved slapping some prime 10 ass alongside the little man it’s time to break out the jizz rag.”

Bonetown originally released in November last year has been carefully marketed at an adult audience. “We don’t want to kill people or be wizards in a video game; we want to party get in fights get girls and laugh our butts off” CEO Hod (apparently surnames are so last century) explained.

The game is currently only sold online (as a download) and through adult stores and so probably hasn’t drawn the attention of local censors. Given the government’s determination to demonise game players (and the trouble developers of titles like Grand Theft Auto have gotten into for including even passing sex scenes in conjunction with violence) we probably should be slapped for even mentioning it.

But adult-themed games have a long history from low-res console madness such as Custer’s Revenge to PC classics like the Leisure Suit Larry series. As resolutions have increased and graphics have become more realistic it’s no surprise that those enhanced visuals have been used for adult content as well as highly-detailed carnage. The annual AVN Awards even offers a special award for the best interactive DVD won this year by My Plaything: Ashlynn Brooke. (Yeah we were also disappointed that Virtual Vivid Girls: The Love Twins wasn’t victorious.)
