Convertible tablet netbook from Kohjinsha leaks online with a few details unknown.

A company called Kohjinsha has had its latest convertible netbook called the SK3 leaked online. The machine is rather like the Asus Eee T-91 in that both machines are convertible tablet netbooks. The device has a 7-inch LCD featuring resistive touch sensitivity. Resistive is cheaper than capacitive screens like the iPhone, but I would much prefer being able to use a finger rather than a stylus or fingernail for navigation, which are your only real options with a resistive touchscreen.

Inside the convertible form factor resides a 1.3GHz Atom Menlow Intel processor. Many of the hard specs we really want to know are lacking at this point. For instance, we aren’t sure what storage will be used so it could be an SSD or HDD. An earlier version of the machine had a 60GB HDD and shipped with Vista, but this was about a year ago.

Odds are this time around the rig gets Windows XP and it better have at least a 160GB HDD. The only other specifications we have on the machine is that it has 802.11n Wi-Fi, PCI Express, SD card reader, VGA out, Ethernet and that machine offers GPS, which is a pretty cool feature if married up with the right software.

The machine is reportedly going to be officially announced this week and we should get the details we want to see at that point.
