New desktop computer form Dell offer Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors with a number of graphics options.
Dell announced a couple new notebooks today called the 14z and 15z and for those wanting a desktop rather than notebook, Dell has your fix too. Dell has unveiled its new
Studio XPS 8000 and 9000 desktop computers that have all the power you could want for multimedia and gaming.

The Dell XPS 8000 desktop starts at $US799 ($AUD925) and offers a choice of Intel Core i5 quad core and Core i7 quad core CPUs. The machine features integrated 7.1 surround sound support along with an optional Blu-ray disc player that also burns Blu-ray media. The 8000 also has a range of optional graphics processors for gaming and other uses.
Dell also unveiled the higher-end Studio XPS 9000 desktop, which it claims is one of the most powerful desktop computers it has ever produced. Dell is mum on the difference between the 9000 and 8000 Studio XPS desktops. I would bet the difference is in the processors and graphics options for the machine. The Studio XPS 8000 desktop is available now in the US and is set for Australian release (and elsewhere) in coming weeks.
