Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak’s performance with his partner Karina Smirnoff was less than stellar according to the judges.
In fact, it was almost as big a train wreck as his relationship with Kathy Griffin. The judges were not easy on him. In fact, Len Goodman deemed the performance “a disaster.” You can watch it on
YouTube.

Wozniak dressed in a dapper black suit and Smirnoff performed the cha-cha to “You Ain’t seen Nothing Yet,” by Bachman Turner Overdrive. Wozniak flirted with the crowd, blowing kisses and even did a spin on his knees. It was still not enough. To be completely honest, he wasn’t doing much dancing.
Bruno Tonioli didn’t take it easy on Woz, stating that he had no idea whether or not the performance was “hilarious or delirious” he even said that watching Woz was like watching a “Teletubby going mad in a gay pride parade.” With this remark, the crowd erupted into negative response.
The judges aren’t everything. In fact, it’s the viewers who make choices, and the Internet is abuzz with all types of Apple fanboys who think Woz is great. Though, something tells me it has nothing to do with his performance. An entire Facebook group has been dedicated to getting the word out for the Woz vote. Currently the group has over 1,600 members.
I’m pretty positive that all of Silicon Valley also had the tech genius’ back.
Competition however, is still quite stiff as he is competing against singer Lil’ Kim, former Giants player Lawrence Taylor, one of The Girls Next Door and Playboy Bunny, Holly Madison, and Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson.
Smirnoff, who has stated that she could "bring the sexy side out of any partner," has claimed that Wozniak had to be taught all of the basics. During rehearsals, "when Steve took his first step, I thought, 'uh oh, we've got a lot of work to do.'"
On his personal
website, Woz is encouraging his fans to support him. “I’d like to demonstrate, by viewers and voters, that people in the entertainment businesses (including professional sports) are not the only people in this world that count,” writes Wozniak. “If you think that you cannot possibly dance or that you are the world’s worst dancer, I’m going to show that it’s not true.” And an iPhone app is in the works.
