Hi,

I have a Dell Inspiron 1545. I am just wondering whether there is an extra software that can make the screen brightness darker then that the functions key can do.

Because now I have set it to the lowest using the function keys, but it is still too bright.

Thanks for your assistance in advance

Andrew.

Not sure - Windows 7 - 32 bit? Nvidia graphics hardware?

Generally the graphics driver (Windows or Linux) has an original or third-party program. This may already in your operating system, or you may need to download it: MAJORGEEKS.COM, but preferably FILEFORUM.COM.

Search for "GAMMA". Software associated with this helps contrast (balanced, highlights-only or lowlights-only) and brightness.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1300 notebook which until recently had a very bright screen. I uninstalled some AV software a few nights ago then installed a free version of AVG.

Years of training and fine detective work.

I find this craq offensive and had some faint hope that if I winged enough someone would notice and delete it.

You've been here for a while now ECM. Have you ticked the make me a mod box in your profile?

The site would benefit from an active mod instead of or as well a its proscribed word list.
