Clash of the OS's

here we are in 2009, with an OS showdown it seems. ladies and gentlemen! i give you the battle of the OS's! in the blue corner, we have the Macintosh OS X snow leopard, selling at a 10% of the worlds OS choice, and the challenger for tonight, THE MAC OS X!!!!!!! in the red corner, we have the windows 7 and vista franchise, selling at a whopping 90% of the worlds OS choice, including professional business's, the current champ and victor, WINDOWS OS!!!!!!! stay later tonight for special tickets to see our next gathering at the Linux dome, to see Linux take on the newbie to the OS business, GOOGLE CHROME OS!!!!! OK maybe not ALL of this information is true, but you get the big picture on where the OS's stand in todays world. obviously, the mac vs PC rivalry is, [ahem] still, going on. and probably will until one slips up. then we used to have the lone, open source, free operating system known as Linux. Linux was a lone contender once, but since Google's announcement of them in the making of they're latest OS, Google chrome OS, he is no longer alone. now, we currently have 4, count em, 4 major [or soon to be major] OS's in the world. basically, since windows is top dog in the OS community, and has been for about, say, 10 years, macs plan for world domination aint gonna happen any time soon. which is sad, i know, but because everyone goes by name brand these days, ie, "honey my head hurts!" "well then go take some Tylenol!!!!" we're basically stuck between a rock and a hard place here. and its because the Microsoft business is ripping you off of money, and they know it, and also the fact that they merely laugh at another OS coming into business, because they know. THEY KNOW that nothing can stop their unstoppable onslaught. 90% is a lot people. and also take in mind that about a quarter of those people wont ever even think about switching to a different OS. in other news, mac users are also increasing but not at an alarming rate for Microsoft to worry about. linux? ha! an open source OS would never stand a chance. yes i know Linux is great, but the greatest sickness of it all is that people just don't give a care about little stuff about that, including an open source OS that i could probably ask 10 people off the street and at least 9 out of 10 of them wouldn't know what the in the world Linux is. my humble opinion? get what you want. don't just go with everyone else has. if your friend has a different OS than you, don't switch just because he has it. if you like the OS X, then great. if you like Windows and like it, that's great too. because in the end, who's spending the money? you.

azepromidi try it before you comment on it User 37 posts Posted: 17/07/2009 5:07 PM	more linux please i have linux boxs and vista box and guess what windows crash linux has not crash yea from mandrake 9 release to now and gets a great work out with media hahaha
