Just moved everything over to my new iMac and notice under Snow leopard that my mouse (mice) now work differently. In Leopard, a right click would give me a choice of actions, or in the relevant text program, give me a corrected spelling choice in an underlined error. If I selected an image or object, a right click would give me a short menu list of options. It now seems that default is geared to move within the OS and programs. Can I regain the old mouse shortcuts ?

Strange, no problems with my mice under SL. Anyway, try going into System Preferences, select Mouse and configure the right-mouse button to do whatever it did under Leopard. I can't confirm this works because I use an Apple Mighty Mouse (officialy supported) when I'm not using the trackpad on my MacBook Pro, but gi'z a try anyway and see what options you're presented with.
