I would reccomend getting a cheaper cooler and going for an i7. I'm not sure that you absolutely NEED a power supply that powerful, but I guess it can't hurt. and i would personally suggest going with a gtx260 instead of the gts...

media centre pcs don't do the most resource intensive stuff, so if i were you i would just use the stock cooler (assuming you wont be overclocking) and get an ~800W psu; 1500W is major overkill and a waste of money (unless, of course, you want to run 23 computers from the one psu). If you wanted, you could then spend the saved money on a core i7 (800 series if you don't want to change mobo). if you are happy with a core i5 (you should be for a media centre), I would get a better graphics card (I personally prefer ati over nvidia) and a bigger HDD.

You won it? Lucky you. I thought you were buying all the parts. I don't know Much about power supplies but that price sounds ok to me. V10s are pretty pricey. Maybe an Aywun V8 might save you some dollars. Either way, It is a pretty decent machine. It would leave mine in the dust. lol
