This is an Email I sent to it.
I wrote:
Hi, this is just a quick note to point out that your online forum is filling up with spam.
The spam is mostly taking the form of meaningless posts with links to offers to write your resume, fix your computers, health stuff, something called colotox ETC.
If there was a report spam button or someone moderating the forum this stuff wouldn't get a toehold.

I just re read the forum rules and found this:

Michael J, you would be one of those cynics one hears about?
One does what one can then makes decisions based on the results.
If enough people use the email link to complain someone may get peeved enough to do something about it.

Thanks for your feedback. In fact, we're about to dump that forum system (the days of building these things from scratch in-house are well and truly over). We're currently assessing third party alternatives that are easier to use and have infinitely better spam protection.
