Similar to the thread in the XP forum regarding desktops, what different pages are people setting as their browser homepage?
Being the impatient user that I am, I have the good old about:blank. I want my browser to load instantly!

I have http://www.whitestripes.net/ as mine. I'm a huge fan of the White Stripes and The Saboteurs, and this site has info on both and is well maintained. I'm done with my publicising now :) I did have the IE8 beta tester page set as my home page for a while, but I uninstalled it and changed my home page.

Good old 'blank' does it for me every time, although my intention is to get organised and set up a personalised page listing all my most-visited sites plus other info -- should really get my bum into gear and play more with iGoogle, see what this can do for me!

I start with news.com.au but then usually stay with reddit.com and facebook.com throughout the day.

I used to be a big news.com.au fan - especially when I was living overseas. But lately it seems that they can't make up their mind how they want it to look and keep changing it all the time.

I have iGoogle ... gives me RSS feeds for key tech news sites, as well as my Google Reader feed (so ALL the RSS feeds I read are viewable in a scrolling pane.)

I use plain 'ol http://www.google.com.au.
There's barely anything on it so it loads really fast - the nearest you can get to a blank web page (which happens to be very useful) while still checking whether you're still online or not.
