Can I upgrade USB1 to USB2?

You can not only purchase a PCI card to get USB 2.0 functionality.

You can also purchase an Internal 3.5 or 5.25" Card Reader. Most of them provide at least one USB 2.0 port and it is really convenient to locate (I'm not a huge fan of taking out my PC and finding that spare USB port). Another worthwhile investment would also be in purchasing a USB 2.0 Hub with 4 ports or more, this means either if you purchase the PCI card or Internal Card Reader; you will save time in locating a spare port if one is available on your desktop.
