Find you're boards model number. Go to your manufacturers webpage, find your motherboard on the site under support & drivers and you should be able to download the latest bios from their website.
If i remember correctly, you're board is an ASUS P5K-VM?
If so, look at this link, it should help. Download the latest BIOS for your motherboard. Once you've done that, you can install the latest BIOS by a floppy drive, or possibly a bootable USB drive. If you don't know how to do that, google it and you should find some information about it.

I am 100% perfectly sure that you do not want to go to hell. Hell is worse than you could ever even begin to imagine.
I encourage the use of Linux, but honestly, Vista aint THAT bad. People made it sound 10x worse than it really is. Even before it's release, people were talking Vista down. Try it out, its better than you think. XP for me still works perfectly fine, smooth and quick. Long live XP!
Is it any good? Do you really get infected with some s**tty disease?
Yeah, FC2 is good, not really worth buying though. Depends how much you value entertainment i guess.
Your infected with malaria from the beginning of the game and the sickness is integrated into the storyline. It just creates another big complication in game. Good game, nice graphics, runs great on my XFX 9600GT 512MB DDR3 which i got for free in return for a faulty 8600GT from PLE Computers (www.ple.com.au).
It's hard to see whos shooting at you sometimes because there's so many other things moving to attract your attention. In some parts it's pretty unrealistic, theres like a car around every corner, and you fix your broken cars' smoking by tightening a bolt on the motor under the bonnet... :P
It should have a targeting system which targets the enemies...
Overall I'd rate the game 7.5 / 10

We used to have a 1.5mb unlimited download connection with no shapings supplied by Dodo. We were paying a good rate and were happy with it. After a year or 2, at almost exactly (and i mean within a few seconds) close to 6:00 PM we would be shaped to around 10kb/s or less.
They put mega blocks on our connection from 6:00 PM to about 9:00 pm... after that it was fine. They'd do this every single day and 6 PM just happens to be about peak hour for internet usage. Whenever we contacted dodo they always talked of having server issues and were working on fixing it, and that if we wanted it fixed we should change plans. This of course was what they wanted us to do, change plans, pay a higher rate. We couldn't find any well known ISP providing unlimited downloads with a good speed for a reasonable price. We put up with it for a few weeks but eventually decided it was enough. We contacted Dodo many times and each time they made up some lame excuse. Dodo has lost my support and i'll never recommend them to anyone, ever again...

28" Viewsonic 1920x1200 LCD Bargain!

Recently, Austin Computers (www.austin.net.au) sold 28" Viewonic LCD screen for a bargain at $645 each!
Though some might say the quality of the screen is not great compared to a bigger brand screen like a dell 30", I beg to differ.. I own one of these Viewsonic 28" screens and have never had a problem with it. Its a pretty darn big screen, but you'll get used to it eventually. It sports great colours, PIP and other cool things. The only con about this screen is the time it takes to turn on, though even that is not such a bad thing, makes you learn patience. :)
It has a variety of inputs, almost like a HD LCD TV.

1920 x 1200 resolution
3ms response
contrast ratio 800:1
inputs: D-Sub, DVI-D, composite, S-Video, Component, HDMI
The screen also comes with built in stereo speakers which aren't really that great. I suggest if you buy one of these screens, buy a speaker system with it.

The ViewSonic VX2835wm 28” multimedia LCD display comes with a golden aspect ratio of 16:10.

Check the screen out:

http://www.ple.com.au/snapshot.php?inventory_id=29461

Nowadays you can pick one of these up for $699 from PLE Computers (www.ple.com.au).
If you ever see a good price on this screen, under $700, buy it, its a huge bargain. Compare this screen with Dell's 30" screen the main difference is the resolution of 2560x1600 vs 1920x1200 and look at the price difference, it's really not justified. Great screen, no complaints at all.

Looks good, tilts up and down, not too heavy but i assume you won't be carrying it around too often.
Great Screen. A++

The BEST Value 4 $$ Core2 PC!!

I built my own PC, as it worked out to the cheapest price. I hate Macs with a passion, and will never own a Mac, which is the obvious reason why I didn't buy one!
I could have bought a Dell custom built PC but they are generally too expensive for what you get. I have enough knowledge to build / install my own computer and tweak it to work the way i want it to.
At the time of buying, Core 2 Duo's were just invented and were quite expensive.
The latest NVIDIA Graphics Cards was the Geforce 7 series so the Geforce 6 series were in less demand, with cheaper prices.
I read tech reviews and APC Mag's opinion on the performance increase from the old Pentium 4 CPU's compared to the new Core 2 Duo Processors. As I was a student at the time and was upgrading from a Pentium 4 3GHz with 1gb DDR400, Nvidia 6200 128mb DDR2, which i sold and combined the proceeds with my existing money to buy a better computer.
Searching through computer parts and prices in the Perth metro area I found the best value parts. I read the reviews on the internet and in magazines, and finally made the decision to buy this computer:

Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 1.8GHz, 800MHz FSB = $150
Intel DG965RY Desktop Motherboard Supports All Core 2 Duo= $180
Western Digital 250GB SATAII= $130
XFX Nvidia 6600GT 256MB GDDR3 256BIT= $100 – From a friend
Polyview 17" 8ms LCD Screen = $250 – From a friend
Generic Brand Mesh Case with 430WATT PSU = $79
Samsung Writemaster DVD RW = $69
1GB DDR2-667 Generic Brand Memory = $69

Those are the specs at the time I bought the parts.
Since then i have upgraded to:
XFX NVIDIA Gefore 8600GT GDDR3 256MB, 256Bit = $139
3GB DDR2 667 Generic Brand Memory = $29 each

Since I'm only a student I need to be careful with my money. :)

Design
My computer has a blue laser at the front which is constantly shining directly in front of it quite brightly.
The black mesh looks great, really it does. It's a totally black case with mesh at the front and stainless steel on the sides and around the USB, Firewire, Headphone and Microphone ports.
The blue laser also shines inside the PC which gives it a bit of light surrounded by darkness.
The motherboard fits in perfectly with no obstructions and there are plenty of harddrive slots in the case.
The 6600GT fitted in perfectly.
My 8600GT fits in perfectly aswell and does not upset any of the cabling etc.
My Polyview 17" LCD still looks great, even though it is at least 4 years old.
The only thing i don't particularly like about my LCD is that the power supply is not inbuilt. I have to carry around a power adapter for the screen as well which is a downside, but since my computer isn't transported alot unless I go to LAN's it's not much of an issue.
The interaction of the fans is great, the power supply fan, the CPU fan, graphics card fan, the onboard fan and the hard drive fan work together to create good air flow and ventilation throughout the box.

Durability
The build quality of the screen is almost 10/10. I have treated it with care and have never had any problems with it. It has a few little dents in the side plastic but nothing else.
My 6600gt fan was obstructed by a few loose cables in the computer. I didn't notice that the fan had stopped so the graphics card overheated and damaged the chip. I tried many different strategies to coax it to work again. I finally managed to get it into windows. (not sure how anymore) I had lines across the screen constantly moving, because the chip was damaged. As soon as I got into a program in windows it would crash and restart.
I gave up on the 6600gt and bought a 8600GT for a good price and great value for performance.

Usability
I can access all of the ports on my computer both internally and externally. There is an abundance of USB ports available for use and easily accessible front USB ports.
The power and reset switches are not easy to confuse, the power switch is a large round switch on the front of the computer, and the reset switch is close to the bottom, and not easy to touch accidentally because it has a stainless steel ring around it.
The buttons on my screen are in a great location, at the bottom of the screen, out of harms way and easy to get to. The doors of the case don't fall off, both sides are screwed on by thumb screws. The SATA and IDE ports are easily accessible.

Connectors
The mainboard has a parallel port, onboard graphics, 2 PS/2 ports, 6 onboard USB ports, 1 LAN port, onboard sound. On the board internally are connectors for 1x PCI-Express, One 16x PCI-Express port, 3 PCI Connector slots, 1 IDE port, 1 Floppy port, 4 Memory Slots, 2 dual chanel slots, and a socket 775 CPU slot. The board also has a front USB port onboard connectors, firewire connector, and front audio connector.
There are easily enough connectors / ports to suit my needs. Optical devices nowadays are SATA so I don't need IDE ports. I don't use a floppy drive anymore, as I have no further use for floppy drives. I don't need more than 1 PCI-Express port, though it would be nice, but i am limited to how much my budget allows, and running 2 graphics cards in SLi mode is quite expensive for the performance increase that you receive from the extra card.

Performance
The performance of my system is highly acceptable for the hardware. I have no problems running games on XP, the latest games like Crysis run great on medium level of detail perfectly fine.

Value
At the time I bought my parts, I was perfectly happy with the price I paid for them. I had enough money to buy these parts, with still money left to play with. I’ve had this pc for around 2-3 years now and I am perfectly happy with the performance : value ratio. I can play any game with no trouble, even on medium quality graphics. Great machine, great for the price I paid, very happy with it.

Drivers
I’ve had no trouble with drivers for my pc. Every time there is a new driver release from NVIDIA I download and install with no trouble at all. My motherboard has worked perfectly fine ever since I got it, no problems there.
I’ve always run Windows XP Pro with SP2 installed as a primary OS. I’ve had no trouble with drivers for XP at all.

Gets pretty boring when everything just works hey :P

Personal Thoughts / Stories
Great machine. Very stable, reliable, good value for performance machine. I simply love it.
