Help required on broadband plan ?

Sam, there are heaps of sites you can visit where you can compare plans for both home phone and internet e.g. bc.whirlpool.net.au/ and www.phonechoice.com.au/ .
you can have a look at all the plans from the different providers and choose one within your budget and that meets your requirements.
You can also do checks on these sites to see what kind of services are available in your area.
I have been with TPG for my internet for quite a few years and I find them really reliable and their prices are great. I am currently with Trinity telecoms for my home phone. Their call rates are really cheap and customer service is excellent.
I actually signed up for these plans through www.bestphonedeals.com.au. These guys come up with the best alterantives for your needs and budget. Their sales staff were really friendly and helpful. I suggest you give them a call...

Hello, I have recently come across a new Awesome home phone and bundle deal through Best phone deals and Dodo. They are offering Unlimited ADSL2+ with home phone for under $70 per month. There is no shaping and no limits so its unlimited in the true sense of the word..The other truly unlimited plan I have seen is with TPG and that it $75.00 p/m and that is just for internet...Dodo's new plan apparently has just been launched, there are no catches either..what you see is what you get..check it out at here

Any Unlimited Broadband plans in Au?

Yes, TPG do have an unlimited plan which is $75 p/m. As Peter said it is only available at certain exchanges and as far as I know it is unlimited with no shaping check out here.
The other plan I can think of (although I'm little concerned about the customer service) is $39.90 unlimited downloads through Dodo. Similar to TPG its only available in certain areas and you would need to bundle your home phone with them. They are also giving away free modem and free setup on 24mth contract alongg with $100 free to be used in first 3 mnths...Sounds pretty awesome if you ask me..you can check it out here. The plan seems to be truly unlimited with no shaping or data limits at all. They also have a no contract option if you are concerned about the service.

Any Unlimited Broadband plans in Au?

Hi Niks11, there aren't any hidden T&Cs and conditions. The $39.90 price applies as long as you have your home phone bundled with them and there is coverage in your area for that service. Dodo have started advertising this Unlimited plan on TV, so there is no doubt that it is a genuine offer.
Many people were getting mixed up with the 256kbps unlimited downloads, which is also $39.90 but this however is an old plan which Dodo no longer offer or advertise..So I think you have got yourself a pretty good deal

TPG have actually reduced their price down to $59.99 from $75.00 p/m in the last couple of days. Once again its only available at selected exchanges. They also have recently launched hp and unlimited ADSL 2+ plans, where you would be paying less than $60 for the package plus cost of calls. The coverage is limited but sounds like a great deal you can check out the plan here

Will broadband plans ever be unlimited?

Actually both TPG and Dodo offer unlimited ADSL 2+ plans with no shaping at all. Many ISPs claim they offer unlimited broadband but they often shape the speed after you reach a certain amount. What is the use of unlimited internet if you are being slowed down to dial up speed after a while?? I have double checked with dodo and some of their plans are truly unlimited with no shaping or excess charges. You can basically download all you want at ADSL2+ speeds. I dont know of many ISPs that offer such plans. Besides the unlimited downloads, Dodo also offer free modem and connection on longer term contract and there are extra incentives to bundle other services with internet e.g. home phone, mobiles, voip etc...you can have a look at the plans here

Any free laptop with broadband Deals?

Hi Restless, I have been looking for such plan for weeks so I googled wireless Broadband and I came across a dodo mobile broadband offer. They have various plans starting from $29.90 p/m with 7' inch notebook and free mobile calls. The plan I'm thinking of joining is $59.90 p/m with Asus notebook , sony ericsson G502 handset , $650 free mobile calls and 1GB in wireless data. They also offer "yestime" and $199 infinite rewards card which gives you discounts at various outlets e.g. woolworths, coles, travel bookings etc..I thought it was too good to be true so I gave them a call and it is all for real. Only thing is 24 mth contract and on runs on optus network which I heard is ok but not as good as telstra coverage. I suggest you check it out as I think its one of the best plans on the market

On the lookout for a broadband plans

G'day Sam, mate it seems like you are with Telstra or one of those big telcos that charge an arm and a leg for their plans. Now, I assume you are using ADSL2+, but you are paying way too much for your internet, not to mention the home line rental you are paying as well. There are many companies that can beat what you are paying at the moment and Dodo is certainly one of these providers that come to mind. They have plans for 100GB for only $29.90 p/m or even unlimited ADSL 2+ for $39.90 p/m. There are no catches, so it is truly unlimited as some of my friends have joined and they are very happy. You just need to combine your home phone with them in order to get that plan and its on optus network so as long as there's coverage in you area you can apply. If not, they can always Telstra plans, which will still be much cheaper than what you are currently paying. They also give you free modem and internet setup on 24mth contract as well as $100 free calls to use on home phone in first 3 months. You can keep same phone number and there's no disruption to your service. I suggest you visit this linkhttp://www.cheapbroadbandplans.com.au/ and have a look around. I am sure you will start saving right away.

Mobile data plans?

Actually dodo have recently relaunched their plans where the lowest plan is $19.90 p/m and comes with 2GB. although only 1gb can be used during peak and 1gb off peak or alternativley 2gb during off peak. they give you free usb modem on 24mths contract. they also offer bonus 10gb data in first month. 5gb peak and 5gb off peak. They use optus network so the coverage should be pretty good. You can view all their plans here.
