The Windows 7 Transformation Pack gives XP a top-to-tail interfacelift with a fresh yet familiar result...
Like the streamlined look of Windows 7 but don’t care for its Vista underpinnings? Try 7TP, otherwise known as the Windows 7 Transformation Pack.
This is a bundle of freeware utilities which gives a stylish Windows 7 look to XP’s desktop, Start menu and taskbar, app windows and even system tray icons. You even get a 7-like boot screen and welcome screen plus wallpapers and user icons lifted from Windows 7 itself. Honestly, if you showed a 7TP-’d system to almost anyone they’d never believe this is just a gussied-up XP.
This isn't Windows 7... it's Windows XP running the 7TP 'transformation pack'
The bundle is a development from the previous Vista Transformation Packs and includes an add-on named ViGlance which emulates Windows 7’s enhanced taskbar or ‘superbar’, along with utilities to reshape XP’s Start menu and apply windows transparencies.
7TP can be
downloaded directly from www.jcxp.net, and we also suggest you check out the
7TP discussion and feedback forums.
