Kicking off on June 28th, the free five-day DevFest offers Aussie developers week of deep-diving Googly goodness on Google Apps, Chome, Wave, Maps and more.
Want to sharpen your code skills to tap into Google’s big gun projects or just get more of the good oil on the search supremo’s take on the latest technologies?
Google Australia is holding a week-long series of workshops under the DevFest AU umbrella where developers will get to play with Google’s newest APIs, build apps, roll
up their sleeves and get into the latest code to be open sourced, and
generally hack to their heart’s content.
The free sessions will run from 10am to 7pm daily starting Monday June 28th at the company’s harbourside GooglePlex HQ in Sydney.
The schedule covers Wave (on
Monday), Apps (
Tuesday), Chrome (
Wednesday), Social (
Thursday) and Geo (
Friday). Speakers include local Googlers plus global experts jetting in from
Google’s California headquarters.
Attendees can get more details on the program and register for any sessions which take their fancy at Google’s
DevFest AU page.
