New OS X build references two new MacBook Pro models rumored to be a high-end refresh.
Fans of technology have taken to dissecting files hidden inside configuration and operating systems of various devices for hints at what new models of notebooks and other devices are coming. Reports are coming in today that the latest build of Mac OS X has references to
two new MacBook Pro models. The last new MacBook model we laid hands on was the new $1,299
13.3-inch entry-level MacBook last week.

The new build of the OS -- 10.6.2 -- references the MacBook Pro 6.1 and MacBook Pro 6.1b. Exactly what these two new MacBook models will include or when they will debut is unknown. That fact hasn't stopped rumors and speculation though. Apple Insider reports that the new MacBook Pro will move from NVIDIA graphics to ATI 45xx series GPUs along with the newest Intel Core i7 CPUs.
It's not hard to image Apple shedding NVIDIA GPUs and moving towards AMD parts with all the issues that NVIDIA had with the 9400 GPU line that Apple uses now. The two new machines are pegged as high-end models. We can only wait and see if these rumors pan out at this point.
