Lenovo builds the PC into the screen with C100
If you want a desktop PC without the box, Lenovo's new C100 fits the bill with a slick all-in-one package.
Lenovo has gone official with its latest, affordable, all-in-one PC called the
C100. The machine has an 18.5-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. All the goodies are packed inside the LCDs 2-inch thick case and the machine looks very cool to boot. The C100 is smaller than the C300 all-in-one we talked about before.
Other features of the rig include an option for an Intel Atom 230 single core CPU or an Intel Atom 330 dual-core CPU. The machine also has a DVD burner built-in along with four USB ports for connecting peripherals to the machine. Lenovo also packs the machine with a software bundle. The bundle includes Lenovo Recovery System with OneKey antivirus and OneKey Recovery that scans for viruses before Windows loads and can recover files and restore corrupted data. The C100 will ship in the U.S. in September with pricing starting at $US399 ($AUD464). Availability in Australia and other parts of the world hasn't been announced yet.
