The deal: Acer AS7750G - giant-sized allrounder with beefy specs - $1,129.00
The 17.3in Acer Aspire AS7750G-2636G75MNbb is a beefy desktop replacement. The screen itself has reasonable colours but the viewing angle isn't quite as good as some other notebooks we've looked at. There's an Intel Core i7, a massive 750GB hard disk drive, 6GB of RAM and a dedicated graphics card good enough for modern gaming.
The Intel Core i7-2630QM (2GHz) processor is paired with a huge 6GB of RAM, which gives the AS7750G the power needed to run multiple intensive programs without difficulty. Newer games like StarCraft 2 will also run well at high settings on the 17.3in (1,600x900 resolution) screen thanks to the AMD Radeon HD 6650M dedicated graphics card.
Storage isn’t going to be an issue due to the 750GB hard disk drive. At 3.3kg portability isn’t great but then the big Acer is not really meant to carried around too often.
