The deal: Acer Ferrari One 200 - unique style - $999.00
Notebooks that put style first are generally mediocre at best, but the Acer Ferrari One 200 for $999 is not one of them. This thin and light notebook has a typical if low end AMD Athlon X2 L310 CPU which is similar in power to the better Intel Atom CPUs, and the ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card is also one of ATI’s weaker offerings. Don’t expect to run much more than older games like F.E.A.R. on low settings, and won’t do much above normal general computing. It does have a decent 320GB hard drive and 4GB RAM. Although the screen is 11.6in, it does have a good resolution of 1366x768.
These specs are all wrapped up in a tiny package, which is really the hallmark of these thin and light notebooks. It weighs a mere 1.5kg, measuring just 285x204x30 mm. This is one of the rare notebooks that has strong capabilities and speed underneath the obvious style. If you want a thin and light notebook that will turn heads, this ones for you.
