The deal: Amazingly cheap Core 2 Duo ASUS - $599.00
ShoppingSquare's not a site that has come across our radar much in the past, but we'll certainly be checking it out from now on after seeing this deal!
The site is selling an ASUS K50IJ-SX304X notebook with a Core 2 Duo T6750 2.1GHz processor, 2GB RAM, decent sized 320GB hard drive, 15.6" display at 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio (1366x768 resolution), high speed 802.11n networking, DVD burner and Windows 7 installed. It's not a good choice for playing games as it only has an Intel integrated graphics chip, which won't display game graphics at a good frame rate, but otherwise the system is very, very good value for $599. Most other shops are selling this system for $700 - $800.
It also has a 3-in-1 card reader for camera and phone memory cards, and an inbuilt webcam for Skype video chat.
