The 9.7in Apple iPad 2 (16GB) is still the golden standard by which other tablets are judged, and for $518.40 the price is more than reasonable. It’s one of the sleekest tablets available, and the highly intuitive operating system makes it a real joy to use. The aluminium backing feels great, and the build quality is superb. This sale lasts until Sunday, and if you need more storage or 3G functionality then have a look at the other iPad 2 models also on sale at WOW; all have the same 10% discount. Alternatively, if there isn't a WOW Sight & Sound near you then Apple's Black Friday sale has a discount almost as good.

Although the resolution is only 1,024 x 768 pixels, the 9.7in screen is still one of the best tablet screens we’ve seen. You’ll need some discipline with apps and music though, because the 16GB SSD will run out sooner rather than later if you install lots of content.

For hardware features the iPad 2 is well kitted out, sporting front and rear cameras, a single speaker, an in-built microphone and a headphone jack. The whole package weighs in at 601 grams and measures 8.8mm thick, meaning the iPad 2 is nice and easy to carry around.
