Apple products don’t often go on special, so to get $100 off the Apple MacBook Pro 13in is definitely a good deal if an Apple is what you crave. As it’s the latest model, the processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 (2.4 GHz), one of the faster Intel Core 2 Duo processors you’ll find in a notebook. The NVIDIA GeForce GT 320M graphics processor shares memory with the main system, but it’s still enough to run slightly older games at low settings. The overall specs are okay, and include a 250GB hard drive, 4GB of RAM, and a 13.3in (1280x800 resolution) screen.

Physically it’s about halfway between a notebook and a netbook, weighing just 2.04kg and measuring only 325mm wide, 227mm deep, and 24.1mm thick. If you want an Apple, this is one of the few chances you’ll get for a genuine discount on their latest models.

It’s also worth mentioning that Myer has $100 off all of their Apple notebooks. While this one arguably offers the best bang for buck, if you need more or less computing power than have a look at the rest of the Apple range.
