At $771 the Compaq Presario CQ62-213AX has made a compromise with the CPU to include a moderate dedicated graphics card. For the price the compromise is fair, even if The AMD V120 is only about as powerful as the Intel Atom N450 CPU normally seen in netbooks, however the ATI Radeon HD 5430 graphics chip will manage games like Modern Warfare 2 on low settings, but not much more. It won’t do very well with video editing, but low level general computing should still be fine. For the price it otherwise has average specs, including 2GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, and a 15.6in (1366x768) screen.
It’s a fine notebook for the price even if it’s average physically, weighing 2.5kg and measuring 374x246x36.8 mm. This is definitely a lower end machine, but if what you need is basically a netbook with decent graphics performance for games then give this one a look.
