It’s a high-end all-rounder notebook priced like a mid-range alternative, with a 2nd Gen Intel Core i7 processor, a reasonable mid-range dedicated graphics card, 8GB (1,333MHz) RAM and a massive 1,000GB (5,400RPM) hard disk drive. To even get a processor that good in an all-rounder this affordable is unusual, so together with the otherwise strong specs the Inspiron 15R (U510320AU) is one of the best specials we’ve seen this year.

If however you’ve got a budget that won’t stretch beyond $700, for $674 the Inspiron 15R (U510316AU) still offers pretty amazing value for money. Unlike the Inspiron 15R (U510320AU) you only get a 500GB (5,400 RPM) hard disk drive and 4GB (1,333MHz) RAM, but rest assured it’s still a great set of specs for the price.
