The Intel Atom N455 (1.66 GHz) is one of the faster Intel Atom processors, and one of the best processors you’ll find in a netbook. Onboard graphics are pretty much what you’d expect for an entry-level netbook, as is the 1GB of RAM, 150GB HDD, and 10.1in (1024x600 resolution) screen. Basic computing like checking e-mails, low intensity website browsing, and word processing are all comfortably in this netbook’s grasp.
Windows XP may be an old operating system, but at $366 it’s a reasonable compromise. This netbook only weighs 1.23kg, measuring 268mm wide, 194mm deep, and 23.5mm thick; portability is great for this one. If you need a basic netbook but don’t want to spend a lot, this one won’t disappoint.
