As long as all you want to run are basic productivity applications, this HP netbook is a great option.
The Intel Atom N550 (1.5GHz) has the computing power needed to make simpler productivity applications run smoothly. While 1GB of RAM is a tad small, it's DDR3, so it's very fast, and won’t hold back Windows 7 Starter or other basic programs.
