Notebook Hunter

For $1388 the HP Pavilion DV6-3079TX notebook is very good value for money. One thing that’s carried over to these newer HP models is the entertainment notebook label; until these include Blu-Ray readers and TV tuners, they are only very good allrounder notebooks.

The processor is an Intel Core i7-720QM (1.6GHz), as it’s one of the fastest processors you’ll see in notebooks. It also has an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics card, one of ATI’s better mid-range offerings capable of running games like Mafia 2 on high settings. The processor gives you the ability to multitask with several programs at once, watch HD movies, edit images and video, and other high end general computing tasks.

It’s also well rounded overall, as it has a 500GB hard drive, 4GB of RAM, and a 15.6in (1366x768 resolution) screen. The weight is a normal 2.49kg, and it normal dimensions; it’s 378mm wide, 245mm deep, and 36mm thick. This is a good allrounder notebook that’s really worth buying.
