The Intel Core i7-620M (2.66 GHz) is one of the faster Intel Core i7 processors while the NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M provides enough power to run games like Modern Warfare 2 on medium settings. While it doesn’t have a Blu-Ray burner or TV tuner that would make it a true entertainment notebook, the 17.3in (1600x900) screen will still make watching HD movies a joy.
While 4GB of RAM is typical at this price, the 1000GB hard drive isn’t normally found in notebooks costing less than $1700. You won’t be carrying it around though, as it comes in at a whopping 3.5kg.
