It’s advertised as an entertainment notebook, but with no Blu-Ray reader and TV tuner it’s really a powerful allrounder. Headlining the strong specs is the Intel Core i7 720QM, nearly the best Intel Core i7 notebook CPU on offer. An ATI Radeon HD 5650 is ranked just as highly, being one of ATI’s top offerings. This notebook won’t break a sweat running modern DirectX 11 games like Metro 2033 will easily run on low settings. As for the rest, 6GB of RAM is above average while the 640GB hard drive and 15.6in (1366 x 768) screen is on the better side of average.
As mentioned earlier, a Blu-Reader or TV tuner could have made this spectacular where it’s currently just very good. It doesn’t even weight that much, coming in at 2.49kg and measuring 378 x 245 x 36mm. This is a beastly allrounder that should be carefully looked at by anyone who needs a good modern notebook with real power.
