For only $720.80 the 15.6in HP Pavilion dv6-4024TX is an amazingly affordable allrounder due to it having both a 2nd Gen Intel Core i7 processor and a dedicated graphics card that’s easily on par with more expensive alternatives. It may have a slightly smaller than average hard disk drive, but it’s a minor point when you consider how cheap the 4024TX is.
The 2nd Gen Intel Core i7-2630QM (2GHz) is a fast high-end processor that should have no difficulty with demanding programs. There’s also 4GB of RAM to help overall system performance, and of course help gaming as well. To that end there’s an AMD Radeon HD 6570M dedicated graphics card, which is easily able to run modern games like Portal 2 on high settings on the 4024TX’s 15.6in (1,366x768 resolution) screen.
There’s also a 500GB hard disk drive, which is a good size for the price particularly given how fast the processor and dedicated graphics card are. The 4024TX weighs 2.51kg, which is very typical for a notebook with this size screen.
