The deal: HP Pavilion 6024tx - 2nd Gen Intel Core i7 all-rounder for a ridiculous price - $626.50
The 15.6in Pavilion dv6-6024TX is not HP’s latest offering in the all-rounder space (HP’s current models are dv6-6c00 series), but the specs are still great when you consider that at $626.50 it costs less than a mid-range all-rounder. It’s got a 2nd Gen Intel Core i7 together with an AMD Radeon HD 6770M dedicated graphics card, a powerful combination. This means it can run modern games well and won’t have difficulty with all but the most intensive software.

See a summary of the specs below.
Processor
The 6024TX features a 2nd Gen Intel Core i7-2630QM (2GHz), a high-end processor that is able to run intensive software and productivity applications without any difficulty. It can burst up to 2.9GHz using Turbo Boost 2.0 Technology if a particularly demanding program is running.
Graphics
It comes with a dedicated graphics card called the AMD Radeon HD 6770M. It’s one of the fastest mid-range AMD cards, and most modern games will run smoothly at high settings.
RAM
4GB of RAM is enough to run several programs at once smoothly. This will be sufficient for moderately intensive image and video editing tasks as well.
Storage
A large 750GB hard disk drive provides plenty of room for a reasonably large collection of files including movies and music.
Screen
The 6024TX sports a 15.6in (1,366 x 768 resolution) gloss screen. The resolution is average for the screen size.
Portability
The 6024TX has average portability, because it weighs 2.63kg and is 31.1mm thick. It'll be straightforward to carry around.
