For $473 at JB Hi-Fi the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 16GB is an exceptionally good bargain. It weighs only 565 grams despite having a large 10.1in (1,280 x 800 resolution) screen, and the actual screen quality is better than even the iPad 2. The performance of the Galaxy Tab is also great, and it runs Android Honeycomb 3.1 very smoothly.
Because of the light weight and svelte 8.6mm thickness the Galaxy Tab 10.1 doesn’t have much in the way of ports, but that’s a trade-off many will be willing to accept. The 16GB of onboard flash storage is also a bit on the small side, but that’s par for the course for tablets around the $500 mark.
