The deal: Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 - huge price drop on 7.7in tablet with excellent screen - $388.00
It was inevitable that last year’s tablets would start crashing in price, and for $388 the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (16GB) is a great-value example. Weighing only 338 grams, this Samsung Exynos 4 Dual (1GHz) powered tablet has a fantastic Super AMOLED screen. This gives it very rich colours, and while it currently runs Android Honeycomb 3.2, there is a planned update for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
One final thing worth noting is that the Tab 7.7 has a MicroSD slot, which allows you to easily supplement the 16GB of flash storage with up to an extra 32GB by MicroSD. If you’re after a really portable tablet with a quality screen, you can’t really go wrong with this one.
One thing to note is that the 32GB version is also on sale for a similarly outstanding $448. If you’ve got lots of media content or plan to have tonnes of apps, the larger stock storage might be worth considering.
There’s also a limit of one per customer.
