Key here is the mighty Intel Core i5-520M (2.4 GHz) processor, as outside of an Intel Core i7 you won’t find much faster in a notebook. The NVIDIA GeForce 330M graphics processor is on the better side of average, providing enough raw grunt to run very intensive games like Metro 2033 at low settings. This should also be more than enough to enjoy HD movies, manage large photo archives, and browse image heavy websites.
This notebook has great specs overall, which include a 500GB hard drive, 4GB of RAM, and a 15.6in (1366x768 resolution) screen. The only downside here is the 2.6kg weight, which is a touch heavy. It’s still portable, just not as portable as some other notebooks in this category. The 379.8mm width, 255.5mm depth, and 36.7mm thickness are all good for this kind of notebook. Overall this is a fantastic package, and for the asking price it’s well worth buying.
