Notebook Hunter

The 15.6in Toshiba Satellite L750/09K is a very well-specced low-end allrounder, and for $555 it costs barely more than a basic notebook with an equivalent processor. The main surprise here is the graphics card, which is as good as those found in some much more expensive mid-range allrounders. Apart from that it also has a 2nd Gen Intel Core i3 and 4GB of RAM, so overall the L750 is a versatile notebook that can handle both productivity software and even some modern games comfortably.

Processor
The L750 has a 2nd Gen Intel Core i3-2310M (2.1GHz), a fast low-end processor which can smoothly run productivity applications and some intensive software.

Graphics
It has a dedicated graphics card called the NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M. It’s a mid-range card that can handle modern games at medium settings without any difficulties.

RAM
It has 4GB of RAM, which is enough to run several programs at once smoothly. Intensive tasks such as HD video editing are definitely well within the L750's capabilities.

Storage
It has a 500GB hard disk drive, which is about average in size for most notebooks. That's enough for plenty of documents along with a choice selection of movies and music.

Screen
It has a 15.6in (1,366x768 resolution) gloss screen. It's very much the standard for allrounder notebooks. While it won't show Full HD (you need 1080 lines for that, it does standard high definition, which is 720 lines.

Portability
It has average portability, because it weighs 2.6kg and is 37.5mm thick. It'll be straightforward to carry around.
