For $598 the 14in Toshiba Satellite L840/02H is an affordable option for those wanting a combination of portability and gaming power. At 2.1kg it’s lighter than a typical all-rounder, but it’s crammed in an AMD Radeon HD 7670M. This is a strong mid-range graphics card that ought to have no problems running modern games at medium to high settings on the 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution screen. A 2nd Gen Intel Core i3 and 4GB of RAM complement the card nicely, ensuring that the L840’s capable of a variety of tasks apart from gaming.
