For $899 at Myer the 15.6in Toshiba Satellite P750/02J is an affordable, high-end allrounder that has been taking notes from dedicated entertainment notebooks. It comes with a TV tuner and a larger than average (especially for the price) 750GB hard disk drive that will come in handy when you start recording lots of live TV. This is a very good deal for the price, because aside from the entertainment features the P750 has the performance specs to match any other high-end allrounder.

Powering the P750 is a 2nd Gen Intel Core i7-2630QM (2GHz) processor, which can speed up to 2.9GHz if a particularly demanding program is detected. Together with 4GB of RAM it can also multi-task well, runng several intensive programs at once, making the P750 really versatile for productivity.

For gaming the P750 has the strong mid-range NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M dedicated graphics card that can play most modern games at medium to high settings on the P750’s 15.6in (1,366x768 resolution) screen. Portability is only slightly below average, because it weighs 2.6kg which is slightly heavier than most other 15.6in screen allrounders.
