NVIDIA custom gaming desktop up for charity auction on eBay

I am a big fan of PC gaming and have a couple machines in my house that are dedicated to the hobby. If you are also a big fan of PC gaming and you are in the market for a new gaming PC NVIDIA has one up for auction over on eBay with all proceeds going to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Gamers who happen to reside in America will even be able to write the cost of a winning bid off on their taxes.

The machine is certainly a very sweet gaming rig with over $10,900 ($US10,000) in gear crammed inside the sexy case. The machines has a one of a kind NVIDIA themed paint job that was created by gaming PC boutique vendor Smooth Creations. Inside the cool case sits all manner of gaming goodies.



The computer has a pair of GTX 295 video cards in SLI mode and includes a set of NVIDIA 3D Vision Glasses. The LCD needed to enjoy 3D gaming is included, the Samsung 2233RZ 3D Vision Ready display. The heart of the gaming rig is an Intel Core i7 975 Extreme Edition CPU and the machine has 12GB of Crucial Ballistix DDR3 RAM. The mainboard is an Asus Rampage II Gene X58 mainboard and storage is to a pair of Crucial 256GB SSDs in RADI 0 configuration and two 1TB WD Caviar Black HDDs.

A library of video games is also included. The auction is set to end on November 24 at 8:03 PST. The catch is the rig will only ship to the US so if you want to bid you will need to arrange shipping or perhaps they can be persuaded to ship globally.
