I have external HD with 2 partitions:
one is 180 Gb - Mac formatted
the other is 70Gb - PC formatted (FAT32)

The problem is that when I plug this 250 Gb into Mac , only Mac partition is visible.
PC formatted partition does not appear at all.
The funny thing is that Mac is able to display any USB thumb drives (Fat32formatted) for Windows but not the external Fat32formatted HD.

I've been told that tat I have to buy some programs that may help but being a student on limited budget I can afford to spend money just for experiment.

Is there some way to make this external HD (LaCie) to display both its Mac and PC partitions on Mac computer running on OS X 10.6?

Thanks for any good idea!
