My much loved Microsoft Office keyboard is dying. So I need to get a new keyboard.

Yes are know keyboards are passe, hence there are very few reviews. Those of us who do things other than play games, consume media or wander the web, ie those of us who write, calculate, program etc, find that keyboards are at least as important as the screen and far more important than a mouse.

The things I love about my old keyboard, are the office buttons (cut, copy, paste, task switcher, back and forward) on the left side; b) integrated navigation capabilities using a scroll wheel (a trackball or touch pad would be fine), task switching c) compact navigation key section that brings numeric pad closer to main screen.

I am not interested in gaming or multimedia features.

Functionally the nearest thing I can find is here but
I am not so sure about quality.

It seems that MS & Logitech have forgotten that the majority of keyboards are not used to play games nor control media players, but are used for typing letters, books, accounts, programs, contracts etc etc.

Within reason cost is not an issue for me, functionality and quality are important.

I look forward to your input.
