Server vendors of ten provide additional software that allows you to access data that is returned by SNMP agents. HP’s System Management Homepage is one such web-application. This image shows the status of the SAS controller within our server.






The IPMI interface on most servers usually feature a web server instance to monitor and maintain the server. This image shows the virtual power button features – if your server has locked up, it’s simple to force a restart – even from a remote location.





Ilo2 – The IPMI web interface can also display SNMP data. This image shows a plot of power consumption versus time for the last 24 hours.
