If you want to swap a SIM card out of a modem and use it in a mobile phone ... or use Windows/OS X's inbuilt dialup software rather than the ratty proprietary stuff provided by your mobile network, you'll need to know these settings.

Network APN Setting Username & Password

Telstra BigPond telstra.BigPond Username: user@BigPond.com
Password: yourpassword
Three 3netaccess Leave Blank
Vodafone vfinternet.au Leave Blank
Optus internet Leave Blank

GB (New user):

having problems getting connected with a new virgin sim that I am trying to use in a telstra elite Seira m308 broadband usb. When installing the virgin sim, I get connected then it says that it is an unrecognised profile and disconnects. I have input the to unlock but cant seem to get it to work with the virgin sim.

Any constructive advice welcome.
